Mateo Posada

Banshee Steward’s Selection I

3/5

This wine is a red blend is in the style of the reds of the Napa Valley, it’s an interesting blend of 52% Sonoma, 32% Santa Barbara County and 16% San Joaquin. This show the tendency for the American market for a big bold wine, that can be open in the moment and bring a pleasant surprise, this wine is very flexible and handle some spicy jalapenos without problem, tacos and wings in an herb rub can also be paired nicely. In my opinion, the alcohol smell was a bit too strong, but you can reduce it by ageing this wine 1 or 2 more years since it was still quite young.

Aroma: Cranberry, Alcohol and baking spices

Palate: Cranberry, Violet, and Dill
